Starting in the Colonial Life & Accident Home Office and then being asked to come home to Charleston to “clean up” a sales office, I started my insurance career that would last 28 successful years. After working in the Voluntary Benefits Segment for several years, I became a Broker, later becoming a Principal of a full-service Employee Benefits Agency with over 20 employees and a very substantial book of business.
2017 brought the sale of our agency to a national brokerage firm and then my subsequent retirement. Ever heard the story of a person that retires then determines there is more “gas left in the tank” than anticipated – well that was me! Helping Palmetto Broker Partners build a meaningful shop that Brokers can work with to increase their revenues while adding value to their client relationships is life coming full circle for me – back to Voluntary Benefits and Colonial Life.
My experience on both sides of the table gives PBP a unique perspective of truly understanding the trusted partner relationship with Brokers. Will Greene and Steve Liebler have a vision and we are “getting the gang back together” to offer a special and powerful value proposition, for successful Brokers, unseen in the industry!
